The classic lead-acid battery in cars or trucks is still the standard today. In general, it is still a cost-effective and reliable solution. Nevertheless, low oper­ating temper­atures and frequent restarts can bring such batteries to their limits - "the battery gets tired". A problem that is exa­cerbated by environ­mental regu­lations. Delivery services must switch off the engine even during short stops, or must be equipped with an auto­matic switch-off system.

Operational safety: modules to stabilise the on-board network

Why are components like ultracaps called different names?

The variety of terms is explained by the English-language terms commonly used in the electronics industry, which are often mixed with German terms or used synonymously.
