Ultracap knowledge
Supercap cells
Unlike batteries, ultracap cells can withstand one million charge/discharge cycles and can absorb and release very large amounts of energy at lightning speed. Ultracaps are also lighter than batteries and can be disposed of or recycled in a more environmentally friendly manner.
Performance + lifetime = sustainability
Since its market introduction at the beginning of this century, this technology has opened up many areas of application.
The advantages speak for themselves.
- Fast storage of high power
- Low internal resistance - Fast output of high power
- High cycle stability
- Good temperature properties, especially at low temperatures
- Long life (longevity)
