The German power electronics manufacturer Querom Elektronik GmbH, based in Geisen­hausen in Lower Bavaria, specialises in the develop­ment and pro­duction of DC/DC converters. Querom's team includes engineers from the fields of electrical and information tech­nology, sensor tech­nology & analytics, mechanical engi­neering and software develop­ment and has many years of development expertise in various industries and appli­cation areas.

Based on its modular approach, Querom has already developed several DC/DC con­verters in the voltage range between 12V and 900V, which are success­fully used in the fields of intra­logistics, renewable energies (hydrogen electro­lysis and fuel cells), transport and many other industries.

Why are components like ultracaps called different names?

The variety of terms is explained by the English-language terms commonly used in the electronics industry, which are often mixed with German terms or used synonymously. In some cases, manufacturers have also introduced artificial terms to better distinguish themselves from competitors. Here are the most important examples:
