VITZROCELL is known as one of the best and most reliable manu­facturers of lithium primary batteries in the world. The inno­vations in primary batteries - i.e. non-recharge­able batteries - combined with the experience in battery tech­nology and ultra­caps, have now come together in the form of a com­bined hybrid primary battery.

The diagrams show the load of primary cells in combi­nation with an EDLC module 0.5F. These cells are often used in devices that only need to supply power occasio­nally. In the example shown, a battery Li/SOCl2 Bobbin A vs Li/SOCl2 Bobbin A + 0.5F EDLC is tested. The quiescent current is 6.5 µA and the daily pulse load is 20mA/1s and 6.9mA/2s daily.

The pulse load is enorm­ously reduced for the battery and thus signifi­cantly in­creases the service life and opera­tional safety.

CAPCOMP will carry out the specific adapta­tion of the ULTRACAP module to the respec­tive lithium primary cell in close coor­dination with the factory in South Korea.
